On 7th October 2017, the full moon will once again guide athletes wishing to tour the streets of downtown Santa Cruz.
This year there are some new features on the route:
– FOR CHILDREN: Will be held in the the start/finish section in Méndez Núñez.
– FOR ADULTS: Route: The runners start in Méndez Núñez street, continue along Pi y Margall street‐ 25 de julio street– Numancia street– Méndez Núñez street‐ Pi y Margall street‐ 25 de julio street– Numancia street‐ Méndez Núñez Street (until its junction with San Vicente Ferrer Street and back to El Pilar street) ‐ El Pilar street‐ Valentín Sanz stret (turn at the square Plaza del Chicharro) ‐ Pérez Galdós street‐ Viera y Clavijo street‐ Méndez Núñez street‐ Pi y Margall street‐ 25 de julio street– Numancia street‐ Méndez Núñez street (until the pedestrian crossing before the junction with Santa Rosalía street, back to El Pilar street) ‐ el Pilar street ‐ Valentín Sanz street (turn at the square Plaza del Chicharro) ‐ Pérez Galdós street ‐ Viera y Clavijo street ‐ Méndez Núñez street (from the government subdelegation to the finish line) – Finish line.
Regarding the children’s race, it should be remembered that this is a free race for children between the ages of 8 and 15 years.
19:30: Young Children’s Race: distance: 300 meters (approximately) for children aged between 8 and 11 on the day of the run.
19:45: Teenager’s Race: distance: 600 meters (approximately) for children aged between 12 and 15 on the day of the run.
The adult’s night race has a route of approximately 5,000 meters and registration costs 10 Euros.
